I feel like my brain isn't really braining right now. So, the idea is for 3 different Grand Prix modes, each more restrictive than the last?
The first being what we have at the moment, where you can whimsically be any driver you want on any track you want at any time you want.
The second being that you're restricted to only being able to use one team all season. So you could choose Ferrari for example and be Leclerc at Australia and then Hamilton at China, for example but it's the continuation of the season so all the points increment up? It is admittedly new and different to what we have now, but the idea is similar to the new MyTeam but without the managerial faff?
The third being that you can only control one driver for all the races. Which you can technically do now by going to Grand Prix and just choosing all the races. (It would be nice if you could have more than one Grand Prix save though). Also sounds similar to Driver Career, but again without the additional faff?
Or is the Free Grand Prix one more of a spectator mode, but you can jump in at any time you like to influence things. I'd be a big advocate of Spectator Mode returning from the old 2000s games, especially with things like Reverse Grid.

My idea is just the possibility of controlling any driver during a grand prix without having to create another save, imagine getting 1st and 2nd place with Ferrari, or recreating the Max vs Hamilton final again, it would be really cool.
