Compared to VR, triple support seems like it should be such a simple thing. F1 24 supports the screen resolution of all three of my monitors (7800 x 1440 via Surround), and all the information and visuals are (or at least appear to be) present, there's just no way to correctly account for screen size, angle, and distance like you can in other games with far less than half the budget and staff of F1. It just makes me wonder if there's something else, like triples support is more simulation than simcade/video game, and that (among other choices) keeps the F1 titles largely out of the conversation/criticism with other sim titles and more in line with any other EA Sports game. I for one know what I'm getting w an F1 game, and would still love to play it on my rig when I need my F1 fix without the side monitors looking like trash.
Side note, I also hope this time around we can use the actual mouse to navigate the menus. EA WRC has this and it's such a QoL improvement.
If EA is serious about creating software with high usability, they should realize that a satisfying user interface and attention to visibility lead to customer satisfaction. It's also a mystery why they've done away with mouse operation. The triple monitor setup is important in reproducing accurate visibility on both sides. I hope they don't give up and continue to provide users with the best F1 sim software.
