The answer is quite simple, they are not interested whatsoever in implementing any half decent customisation. We had about 5 decent helmets at launch and that's been it.
They would rather focus their attention on pointless unrealistic drivel like reverse tracks, live season rubbish and F1 world. All utterly useless and pointless.
Well that’s stating the obvious but that doesn’t mean it can’t be talked about or brought up.
Theres no point them putting time into improving modes like my team or driver career if everyone ends up with their team or driver looking the exact same, there’s absolutely no personalisation in the modes that makes the player feel like putting hours into them. The new liveries with sponsors are so restricting and suck all the drive you have to customise your team because they limit you so much.
Also on the F1 world discussion it’s obvious that was only implemented as a way to include micro transactions somehow, if they actually created decent liveries and helmet designs people would actually buy pit coins.
I have bought a few things, one livery and one helmet. I thought I’d stay with the sponsor in My Team for a few seasons but their offer was so much lower than others. I know have the option to sign with a fourth sponsor (in 4 years) that have a decent in store livery, butI keep thinking “Why would I pay for that livery if I might use it for 1 season and then only if I sign them?”
I don’t race on line so if it isn’t My Team season to season useable, where is the incentive?
