Hey there,
We hear the enthusiasm to extend the functionality for players with Fanatec wheels. Whilst not available at launch, we are working with our partners at Fanatec to understand how we might introduce this feature into the F1 games.

what about the Full Force support for all platforms?

This is good i guess, what is the “might” though? Is there a reason it was never considered before? Fanatec stated that all developers were aware months prior, Forza even had it implemented long before it was implemented by fanatec on a 2 year old game. A little disappointed that EA, which are partners with fanatec, wouldn’t do something with it on their brand new game.

Do you have some news (timeline for the eork/patch)?
What i dont understand, when Thrustmaster release his SDK, EA implent it very fast (SDK was in the game before Thrustmaster release his Ferrari wheel that needs the SDK).

Are there any news for the fanatec sdk (possible to implemt yes/no, when yes- how many month need ea, to release the sdk patch...)? So many peoples are waiting impatient, a information will definitely provide more satisfaction.

There is a very real possibility it never comes, they knew about it for a long time at any point in f125 development they could have implemented it and they chose not to even when other games did that are not even affiliated with fanatec. When i first started this thread they only responded because of how many people bothered them on other threads. They said “we are working with fanatec on how we MIGHT implement it” which to me is pretty clear that they only thought of it because of this thread and have no idea what to do with it (it literally is just an oled screen and some rev lights) Also working with fanatec brings me no hope because it took them 4 plus years to implement it on their own **bleep** equipment. We should just be happy this game isn’t as bad as 24 and thats about it.

I think there is no reason to be so pessimistic. Fanatec was in the financial trouble for a long time, and just after Corsair bought them they started more intense software development. Soon after that we got the firmware which supports LED and etc. on Xbox. Nevertheless, in the lest few months they were releasing firmware regularly.
Concerning EA, they see that a lot of users is asking for this feature and I think there is no reason not to release it. Fanatec SDK is even pretty simple to implement and in the end there is not a lot of Xbox Fanatec steering wheels, and for the F1 formula style wheels, there is only one steering wheel.
