Overall: It is better than before but still not equal in my opinion after four races. - @gladystonff93 As far as i know: GP Mode wasnt affected by the AI Straight Line speed shenanigans. I can confirm this since i could match my team mate in GP mode but i was no where near them in MyTeam/Driver Career.
@PBR3491The issue has always been their traction out of corners. Their max speed at the end of the straight wasn't/isn't the issue.
It's that they're able to get on throttle way earlier and get perfect traction out of the corners. That allows them to reach their top speed sooner and carry that top speed further down the straight.
When you lower the AI level, they're just slower during corner entry and mid corner, but still fast out of the corner. Ironically, drivers IRL do this on purpose to make it difficult to be passed.Unless they addressed this, people are going to experience the same frustrations, just 5 AI points higher.

Some people…🙄 - @KVNR01 I know, there were mods fixing this, i was using this mod most of the time but at least in this version of the game the issue seems to be less present because i did not change anything but the games version compared to before.
- @KVNR01 That's what supposedly they have fixed. Cannot test right now as I'm not at home.

The release notice is super vague and doesn't provide any details about what was updated. Just that you may need to adjust your AI level about 5. Straight line speed is better but corner exit is still obliterating me
- @goodhand12 IMO, corner exit was always the issue. It's not that they're capable of reaching faster max speeds, it's that they're able to reach their top speed sooner down the straight and therefore carry that extra speed longer.
As you scale down AI levels it's the AI's traction out of corners that needs to be scaled back. Instead, it seems to be their corner entry and apex speeds that get scaled back. Ironically this just makes it harder because you have to slow more behind them, preventing you from carrying more speed through the corner, making corner exit for the player even harder still.
