@Ultrasonic_77The customer base is too big to notice any visible repercussions whatsoever for a mainstream game like this, especially for an annual release title like F1 in this case where the crossplay feature will be present at launch next year anyway. Regional pricing isn't an issue either, other EA Sports titles clearly prove that. People who go on forums to whine are in the minority, like it or not.Do you WANT to be treated badly by games developers? Posts like yours will only encourage this, so even if you truly believe what you say, it's still a bad idea to say so.
I don't agree with you though. The microtransaction price changes in GT7 are a very recent example of how player response can influence what happens in a game.
Also, people legitimately complaining about what has happened are not 'whining'.
Good news everyone! After hours and hours of failed support via chat, I managed to get phone support. The person on the phone told me this issue is known. And that it will be fixed within A FEW DAYS!
- @Jaspervdw95 I will have to see it to believe it, in this case, unfortunately.
Call me a cynic but i don't believe that random support person, on the phone, will know anything about it. Even EA/Codemasters staff don't know what is cross-play and what isn't. - @Jaspervdw95 Sounds too good to be true
@TheMalWareTM By the way, whats going on with your fake accounts liking your posts? Seems quite inappropiate to me, especially since you're trying to defend EAs behaviour.
Really hope it's true but I'm sceptical too. If they're confident this is going to be resolved quickly it would surely have made sense for EA/Codemasters to put out a statement to this effect?

LOL! Wow that's desperate!
- @Ultrasonic_77 That's what I thought aswell. Especially since the 2 threads for this topic seem to be the most active currently.
- mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)@MisterJohnny420 humongous oof if true! What made you think that? The accounts were created one immediately after the other?
I'll check it on desktop if it happens to still be on my mind. This forum on mobile is a PITA. - @mariohomoh He renamed them now :D
They were called TheMalWareTX and TheMalWareTT I think and their only activity was liking his posts
