1. Driver stat editor. Preferably within career mode so we can change them between races per file if we wish.
2. Remove (rework) personnel facility boosts. No more permanent stat increases.
3. Either a). Massively reduce amount of resource points earned (remove them from weekly resources) or b). Add some more things to use them on. I have a few ideas below.
4. As well as using resource points to "save" upgrades, we should also be required to spend resource points developing next season's car which would affect the "base" performance of the car. For example, this year, Red Bull base would be 500, Mercedes 420, Alpine 360 etc. The more points spent on next season's car, the more likely that you'll have a higher base (no upgrades) performance.
5. Turn personnel facilities into driver training. Here we could spend resource points to increase our drivers stats (redundant if we're using a stat editor but there will be plenty of people preferring to let stats change organically). Each stat could have an XP bar and once you reach maximum, that stat increases. Focus could help boost this, or a lie focus can make XP drop, potentially losing stats.
6. Livery/helmet editor similar to GT or Forza.
7. Option to manually decide driver lineups between seasons. Can help us make some realistic changes and keep the Mazepin's and Latifi's out of Ferrari.
8. Allow us to pick which icon drivers appear in both career modes and allow the AI to recruit them. (Would have been ideal for Hulkenberg this year, or Alonso in 2020 and potentially Ricciardo for the next game).
9. Driver creator. Much like we already do for our player character, except with the addition of giving them stats, acclaim and allowing them to appear in the career modes for us or the AI.
10. Drop F1 Life. It's awful.
11. If you stick with the store, put classic liveries, iconic helmet designs, or even icon drivers in there instead of a pitiful livery that looks like a toddlers colouring book.
12. Allow us to decide if we'd rather create a driver or play a real driver in career mode. This year for example, if we pick Alonso, then season 1 we'd obviously drive for Alpine but could sign for Aston for season 2 but we're using his name, face and helmet rather than a created driver. If we pick, let's say, Button or Pourchaire, then we choose our team and teammate the same way as if we created a driver.
13. My Team. Rather than owner driver, we have to hire two drivers and then choose which one to play as at the start of the season.
14. Team editor. Potentially able to edit base stats if the teams so we can mix up season one if we want and have Williams a frontrunner if we wish.
15. Team creator. Like we already do for My Team, design/choose livery, pick which drivers are the default drivers (obviously has to be an icon, created or F2 driver) and can choose if we want it to appear in GP mode or driver career. So you could be racing for Alfa against a created Lotus with Hakkinen and Lawson as it's drivers if you wanted. AI would run the team like any other and you could even join them if you wanted.
