Hello,I just downloaded the 1.07 patch on Steam and started a Grand Prix event at Portimao to test it out - as usual for me, I had the formation lap turned off.When I started the race, I noticed that I was REALLY struggling with overall grip throughout the whole first lap. Halfway through the lap, I notice my tyre temps are really low. I decided to start the race again, figuring it was just a small bug - turns out that now, I start the race with 60-70°C tyres (both carcass and surface). I probably don't need to explain where the problem lies here.Given how this wasn't an issue before today's patch, I think this is due to the "Tyres are already up to temperature before the Formation Lap" bug fix.Additionally (although this could be down to my G29 pedals having quite a bit of wear on them), the in-game gas pedal is already at 100%, when IRL I'm only at maybe 70-80% - I thought this was down to me having increased the Throttle Saturation, but I still have the same issue even if I set that to 0.

@KVNR01 It is a huge deal because the point of 5 lappers to race right away. If you try to increase the tempatures for 2 laps that's absurd. I think it's same for ranked lobbies as well. How they cannot think about this?

@KVNR01 It affects everyone equally in multiplayer, correct. in Grand Prix mode, it only affects me as the AI does not seem to have this problem > AI makes me eat dust in Lap 1, so 5 lap races against the AI are pointless at the moment in Grand Prix mode

Since Patch 1.07, the tyre temps have been quite buggy. For example, due to the qualifying exploit "fix", in a 5 lapper w/o formation lap and having full tyre temp simulation you begin the race with 70C tyres. Additionally, after a Formation Lap (on immersive settings) no matter what temperature you manage to get the impossible to heat up Hard tyre to, it resets itself to 70C when on the "waiting for players" screen unless you are the lobby host. This is utterly ridiculous, and ruins league racing to the point where racing on Lap 1 will be pretty much impossible if you don't run ABS or TC at all (like I do).Hopefully this can be resolved in 1.08, but if anything this should show the devs how much they still need to extensively test the new patches as they always seem to break a mechanic by attempting to "fix" an exploit regarding that same mechanic.

Me and my friend just noticed that in one shot quali - 5 lappers races, the tyres are starting with 70 degree cold!
This is like a joke... now we have to wait another patch before we can actually make lobbies together. Tyres are coming up to tempature after 2 laps which is half of the race.

@Maegnys I agree, 5 lap races should start with pre warmed tires. Hopefully they fix it in the next patch.

But the softs don't take two laps to come up to temperature and it's affects everyone equally so it's not a huge deal.

@KVNR01 It is a huge deal because the point of 5 lappers to race right away. If you try to increase the tempatures for 2 laps that's absurd. I think it's same for ranked lobbies as well. How they cannot think about this?

Summarize your bug Today after the Portimao update i started having issues with my tyres on race starts. I went into Grand Prix mode and started a race with formation lap turned off (I don't know if the bug happens in any other gamemode). My tyres were 70°C at the race start, which should normally be a lot higher. I saw that the update brought changes to tyre temps, but these changes were made at the start of a formation lap. This issue happens at the start of a race with formation lap turned off.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Grand Prix mode, start a race with formation lap turned off and start. You'll see that the tyre temps are 70°C ( I don't know if any other gamemode has the issues )
What happens when the bug occurs? Your tyres are 70°C at the start of the race.
What do you expect to see? The tyres temps to be at a normal temperature at the start of a race.

Summarize your bug Its really sad at this point. Online is broken to its core with the sound stuttering and now since last patch the FL is so bugged, the tire temps reset back to 70, no matter what you do, while the host gets the temps he made himself with his warm up. WTF CODEMASTERS??!?!?! When is it possible for you to make a multiplayer that is worth the money.

@ASG94 indeed. the point of a 5 lap race would be to race straight away and not warm up tires for 2 laps. just pointless.
FL being bugged also now. doesnt really matter what you do with tires, they reset to cold temps apart from the host who gets warm tires.
makes online unplayable. Also the 70 degree temps without FL are really hardcore. doesnt matter what race you are in but first corners are pure ping pong now. shouldnt be the point of the game should it?

I have also had this bug, after a pitstop during a 100% race. Rejoined the race with 70c tyres and I was a sitting duck!
