@GenericFC Some more suggestions:
Add ability to change kit after a match has started.
Sometimes there are unexpected kit clashes, and you should be able to fix that without exiting the whole game. (If realism is more important than gameplay, then allow it at half time only, as has happened irl before)
Add a better AI transfer system, that makes more realistic signings for other teams.
Cpu teams shouldnt be signing 5 strikers for 1 team, that are all over 80 rated.
Managers of Cpu teams get sacked, leave etc and move around throughout your career mode. If you play against Real Madrid in 2032 Ancelotti shouldnt be the manager, but maybe someone like Xabi Alonso could be etc.
When you start a career mode with a pre-existing manager, they should not be treated as a total novice. And the game should remember things like their former clubs for commentary.
Should also make it harder to be sacked if you return as a club legend, like Pep if you make him manage Barca.
Add a VAR feature where you can overrule the ingame refs manually if you feel they make big mistakes.
Allow random players to spawn throughout a save, that have no connection to players already in the game. Same system as youth academy, just a few players popping up at other clubs.
Fix academy players stat imbalances in relation to their position. Im tired of finding left backs with 73 dribbling, 70 passing and 75 shooting, but who have 23 defending and 24 physical
Reduce the amount of transfer offer from rival teams. Im tired of listing Mctominay or Rashford for sale with man united, and going an entire window receiving offer only from City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Even though this thread feels like we are screaming into the void, a couple changes that would enhance manager career mode:
- While the youth academy is fine for U18s, would be great to have an ability to designate players to a reserve side so that high potential players can develop without being loaned out (and, invariably, glitched).
- Being a sub should not be penalizing for a player. A 19yo player who gets limited playing time for an EPL side is advantaged, not disadvantaged by that experience. In CM, a 20 minute sub will have a game rating of <6 and likely be on both poor form and damage dynamic potential
- Similarly, the in-game performance, which guides form and dynamic potential, is too punitive, particularly if playing with more realistic sliders. A 2-0 win is realistic, and should not result in players on the winning side being punished. Likewise, if a player in a played 8 min half game scores a hat trick, performance will be high 7s, low 8s. If that happens in a sim game, it is a 10.
