I play FIFA since 1995 and Clubs since 2010 with the same group of friends. I was there as EA grew into a giant and how caring for buyers gradually became pointless, since the company was too big to fail. This is unacceptable and a sign of how screwed up this world is when multibillion companies create a monopoly, literally acting as dictators of the field.
I wonder if any gamer among us has studied Law and knows if it's possible to gather dozens or hundreds of people (maybe even thousands) and sue them (class action lawsuit). I assume it's difficult due to all the terms and conditions we agree on, but it's still interesting to know. The gaming industry has become so huge, people invest so many hundreds of hours in this, as an escape from reality and for entertaining purposes. This is not just "a game", for many of us it's legit psychological support to help us go through this life.
