Player Career cant renew contract

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play through the season and complete all of your contract objectives but not all of your wage objectives. Through the game's rules you should be able to renew your contract. Even the text on the screen mentions you new wage and that you're eligible to re-sign but the game does not give you the option to do that.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't re-sign with my current team even though I've fulfilled my Contract Objectives
What should be happening instead? I should be able to renew my contract with my current team.

For an unknown reason, at the end of the season, I can only sign with a new club and cannot stay with my current club

I fulfilled my Contract Objectives, not all the Wage Objectives, and it says I’m eligible for a renewal but there’s no option to re-sign. It even says “Offered Weekly Wage” in the corner of my screenshot with a dollar figure, so I’m pretty sure there should be an option to renew here but there isn’t one.

I just won a treble with Arsenal and fulfilled my Contract Objectives, I don’t want to leave the team.

Also, considering it’s only the second year of my career, winning Player of the Year is basically an impossible goal.

I'm having the same problem too, this is a core feature of the game mode, I can't believe it's broken like this.

Having the exact same problem but at Arsenal. I just won the treble with this squad, I don't want to leave. I fulfilled all of the requirements and even the text says I'm eligible to re-sign but there's no option. This is ludicrous.

There doesn't seem to be a fix for console so far. And even what was submitted here for PC is simply a work around. The game mode is broken, it legitimately doesn't work in the way that it is supposed to.

Yep seems like a totally broken yet essential feature of the player career game mode right now. I can't believe the game was shipped in this state, where a core feature of the game mode does not work properly. The whole game mode is predicated around this new feature and it's completely broken.

This was posted 2 week ago and still nothing from EA? Pretty crazy how a core feature  of this game mode is fundamentally broken. Re-signing with your current club doesn't work properly and that's why most people play player career mode. Who wants to play on a new team every season? Ridiculous

I'm stunned this issue is as pervasive as it is and it hasn't even received acknowledgement. They're not even working on this if you look at their tracker. Negligence from the EA team on something that is a core feature  to revamp how player movement works. In fact it doesn't work at all, it's a total joke. I have the exact same issue as you

Wow, I just can't re-sign with my current club, you're totally locked out. I've never seen that before. Hopefully this gets fixed because this is a direct obstacle in progression of this game mode for a ton of players it seems like.
