try to go into the drop in lobby and it says 'there was a problem getting your online information. please try again later'. its been saying this for the entire day. any ideas on what to do?
had this issue and just found a fix
join any club a public one and then go into a drop ins game it’s worked for me and after the game leave club and it should let you play still hope this helps
If you meant joining a club and then Play Drop-In Match, no it did not for me.
I do not believe EA cares about issues like this. Drop-In Match is been a total disaster and EA does not do anything about it. Last year was connectivity and many other issues, this year the same thing, adding the constant errors messages and preventing you from playing. Where is EA phone number and email? There is no communication, the company is a ghost, it takes the money and run.
Hello everyone. Yesterday, I was playing drop in games in clubs. I know it has connectivity issues and requires to search for a game like 20 times before it actually works. I would occasionally get into games after a long wait.
I got off the game at one point and got back on later in the day. I loaded up clubs and hit drop ins, and now I am getting a completely different error message that I have never seen before. As soon as I click drop ins, I get the message "There was a problem getting your online information. Please try again."
Now, I am unable to even attempt to play drop ins. I am able to play other game modes, it is just drop ins that is giving me this issue.
I know a main problem is connectivity to matchmaking right now in clubs, but is anyone getting THIS SAME error message trying to load into drop ins? Or is this just me?
If it's just me, is there a way for me to fix this?

No, isn't just you. As you can read many of us have the same problem. I personally tried to contact the company but unfortunately EA it is just a ghost company, they do not provide an email or a phone number where you can actually talk to someone, which means they do not care about you or me. I am ready now to file a Consumer Complaint to see if they at least acknowledge the problem and fix it.
Same issue, first u couldn't play clubs w my friends, apparently the new update that came out for Pc isn't our for consoles yet, so we can't play with them.
So I turn off my cross play, after a few attempts, I play one drop in match and when it ends, before I get my points I get that message.
Now I can't play clubs at all

worked fine up until around wednesday just gone.
only to go into drop ins tho. Club matches work fine.
have no idea why i paid another £90 this year for the game.
