Alex Scott's terrible voice and commentary

Is there an option to silence Alex Scott? She breaks my concentration by announcing the score in the middle of the match with her terrible voice and has a really bad narration. Has no one noticed until now?

  • Hey @reb_beach007 if you have feedback we are happy to hear it but would ask that it be polite and constructive.

Insulting someone for how they sound isn't acceptable.

  • You are right, I'm sorry. Actually, I didn't mean to be insulting, but both her tone of voice and her exaggerated comment are really distracting and not an enjoyable expression. I think there needs to be improvement in presenters and commentators, because we are experiencing the same cycles and sentences. It's an idea. Respects.

She's just not a great voice actor compared to the other commentators so it does take you out of the experience a little bit

Hello, yes there is a way to disable the in-game commentary from Alex Scott. Before starting a new match, go to pre-match secondary setting menu where you normally select the match kits, and press the triangle button on the controller (for Xbox platforms, not sure about PlayStation systems). A pop-up menu will appear displaying the current league matches that will be played at the same time as your match. Beside all or most of the matches will be a green check mark; those are the matches that Alex Scott will update during your match. While in that menu, press the triangle controller button again to remove all check marks, then press the circle (B button for Xbox), then proceed to select the match kits, or back out one menu to where you can start the match. For the entire time that you continue playing in the current gaming session, you will not need to repeat the process for future matches. Note, this procedure must be executed at the start of every new gaming session, i.e. if you exit the game back to the console Home (desktop), or shut down the console/PC.
