Can new gen players get old gen in ea fc 24 with dual entitlement

As you can see, physical versions of the game come with dual entitlement. If you need the physical version of FC 24 for PS4, you'll need to buy that separately since the physical version for PS5 would give you access to download the PS4 version.

@EA_Aljo okay thank you for the response. I really hope this is the case as I already pre-ordered the PS5 version physically.

Based on the cover art I've seen, the PS4 version says that the PS5 upgrade is available, but the cover art for the PS5 makes no mention of dual entitlement.

I just hope I get access to both versions so I can play with some of my friends too.

I have bought EA FC ultimate edition this year which comes with dual entitlement. 

Firstly, how do I switch to the PS4 version.

Secondly, if I do switch to the PS4 version, will that mean I can play my friends who are still on Xbox one as it would be the same gen?

PS4 can play Xbox One since it's the same console generation. You just need to download the PS4 version to play.

I dont have an option to download on Ps4 .  Even though i bought ulimate version on Ps5.  

i have a feeling a needed to buy dual entitlement version for another £10  which i totally missed.

The Standard and Ultimate Editions both come with dual entitlement. You don't need to buy anything else. You should be able to search the game library on the device you play on to find both versions.

Thats what i was hoping.

just nothing in the library on ps4.  And in ps store no option to download.

what i now wonder is both ps5 and ps4 set up as me being the primary account.  (My son also has accounts on both ps4 and ps5)  so wondering if that could be an issue.  

never been a problem in the past, however last week had to reset ps4 back to default settings after it crashed.

FIXED

i went into account settings and refreshed licences and it then showed up in purchases in PS store.  Now downloading.

Is there any possible way that pc players can play old gen or it is impossible?
