Cannot control players with controller

I'm having this issue as well. Sometimes it will work and the player will do what I want it to do but for the most part, my players end up running away and I can't switch players or if they do have the ball, I can't do anything and they just stand there with the ball. I don't know if it's a server issue or an issue with the controller. I've changed all my settings so it should run fine but it still doesn't. Seems to work okay in rush and squad battles, just not rivals.
