Can't get how to improve

@Vinsanity087 In my opinion, this is one of the better "FIFA's" that I have played. I do get the game can feel "weird" at times, but I think it's due to having a bad connection or your opponent having a bad connection. I don't agree with if my opponent's connection is bad, why it should affect me. I don't think that's fair at all. I should not be punished for having a good connection. Yet, it seems that way. Luckily I don't have many connection-based issues.
I was considering quitting this year's edition very early because of how bad the gameplay was but after changing my tactics, the game just felt so much better.
I am playing on 40 defensive width, 91 depth, 70 offensive width, 7 bars of players in the box and a chance creation based on possession (which basically allows me to play both through the wings and through the middle). Finesse Shot + has been a great and fun playstyle for my strikers (being able to score beautiful top bin goals).
My instructions sets my defensive players to stay back while attacking and I put them on Conservative Interceptions with my fullbacks as having an inverted Run Type (I don't want them to be caught out of position and want them to maintain their position). I do have my wingers as Come Back on Defense to better close the wings. And, I play a 4-2-4.
I will also say this, the playstyles and the stats do matter -- more than ever.
Chemstyles are also a very crucial part of the game this year.
My KDB was passing very bad for the stats that he has, after putting an engine on, he just started to feel like what his stats showed. I've noticed higher Agility-based players play a lot better than those "stiffer" players.
For Defense, I was having a really tough time. I now have Anticipate + defenders with block/jockey that are better able to retain tackles and aren't playing pinball. XD
The goalie of my choice is Dudek, but would prefer Courtois -- he just looks amazing for everyone I play against that has him. I had Alison and did not like his animations. Dudek seems like a younger Courtois, not as good but still effective.

So by your own admission we are talking about a game that is definitely driven, and that only allows you to follow certain (very few) patterns to derive enjoyment from it.
Before you put in broken tactics and use broken players I understood that you considered the game to be garbage.

We are not talking about a game in which good players are rewarded over those who are not (as they should be), but rather a game that rewards those who are quicker to find the tactics that allow you to take advantage of the CPU moving for you.

I have been playing competitive online since 2004.
There is no obviousness to speak of.
Just as there is no need to defend a game that has nothing competitive about it the moment it decides to apply pro and con moments to you in a totally random way.This is not about using the correct form and competing on your own ability.
Here we are talking about a game with which, you can use the best team, the best tactics, but that if the CPU has decided that you have to lose, you will lose.
Despite the fact that you are better than the opponent.You yourself said that until you triggered the CPU the game was horrible and you were going to abandon it 1 month after release.
What are we talking about?I asked these questions 3 weeks ago, and no official answer.
That says a lot about how this company is in total decline, and the numbers compared to past years are another solid proof of that.
