Disc edition - two consoles.

Hi,

Quick question. I have an Xbox Series X, and my son has the standard xbox.

If I bought the standard disc edition (Not the series X version), would we both be able to play it on seperate consoles as long as the disc is in?

Would the standatd edition upgrade when playing on my console? I presume if I put it in mine it wouldn’t effect it working on his?

If you're talking about dual entitlement, only the account that purchased the game has access to this. Your son would need to purchase the game as well in order to play it on their account.

Can you give me some more details? It sounds like you're asking if a single disk can be used in 2 consoles at the same time. Which, is physically impossible.

That’s correct, however if I purchased the standard edition (not series X version) would it work on my Series X and my sons older standard Xbox?
