EA App/BETA FAQ Issues

@elngrq8 Definitely feels like we arent going to get the chance because of an issue on EA's end sadly.

@Jamesdroid100 Everyone on PC seems to have same issue. This is the reponse i just got from EA chat, even following 6pm: 'Coming back to your case, I have checked it for you and we're glad to know that you have been invited for EA SPORTS FC 24 CLOSED BETA. I understand that you are getting message 'ready to play on 1st Jan'2099' while trying to download Beta after redeeming the code. You don't need to worry as this error is coming due to the fact that the Beta is not launched yet. We've also confirmed with our game team and you will be able to able to download and play Beta once is it launched. Personally, I would recommend you to wait for couple of hours and you should be able to access the Beta without any issues.'

@lowercasejoey Hopefully it wont take too long - had arranged with the wife to allow some time to play tonight lmao. Seems a tad annoying to say "launching 6pm" and then to say "wait a couple hours..." how did you get to a live chat? I keep going in circles when trying.

@Jamesdroid100 it's looking like everyone on pc has the same issue.
I hope they'll fix it ASAP

@Jamesdroid100 Yeah I think they don't understand that a lot of dedicated players actually set aside the time for the beta, i have a friend who even took some hours off work! And yeah, that confused me as well considering it was clearly stated that it starts at 6PM. I just went to Ea help and went through EA Sports FC 24 then to 'order status' or something like that, just anything to get to a live chat, i didn't bother finding the correct bracket to put the issue under. It seems like they are just waiting for someone higher up to fix the issue to be honest, but seems a bit poor when I see the community manager responding to things about nintendo swtich issues and yet hasn't botheres to reply/update us on the PC issue.

@lowercasejoey Aye... like how FIFA21 on PC didnt have Hypermotion. As always PC users are on the back foot eh?!

Remaining positive. Just going to spend time with the wife and baby for now. Hopefully resolved very, very soon.
