Myself I did, starting with FIFA 94 (FIFA International Soccer) for Game Boy and moving to Super Nintendo and then PS1, spending so many afternoons playing alone or with friends. We know that sometimes we could cross the line when we’re disappointed with a situation, driven by our passion for this game. And in the end, we all want this game to be better. But if we cross the line too often, the risk is turning a constructive thread into a toxic thread with rants and flaming, making it harder for us to take examples and share them with the team as constructive feedback.

A good example is the post from @Tauntmatt (Link): at the beginning and at the end, they confirm a strong opinion, but they share examples of where the Team, in their opinion, should focus on improving the game. Thank you for your post!

Another point: if you don’t see replies in a thread, it doesn’t mean we don’t read your feedback. We always do and share constructive ones with the Team.

We don’t see a reason to close this thread; indeed, we want to change the Title so that from now on, we ask you what you would keep of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 and what you would change. It could be in terms of new modes (ex. Evolutions), Gameplay, or Features—just one reminder: please share as many details as possible. Feedback like “the game is unplayable” or “the gameplay is terrible.” are too generic, while, as an example, “goalkeepers should be more reactive in a 1on1 situation” is something we can share with the Team.

Also, if you'd like to share your feedback about a specific mode or situation, please open a new thread in the correct section. We have different sections related to the FC 24 modes in Answers HQ; you can find them Here. Also, consider using the search bar: someone else may have already opened that thread you want to discuss, and you can jump in and share your thoughts.

Hello Leon. 

The gameplay goes from players flying and feeling responsive to moving like they have ankle weights on while running in sand going uphill. It changes every game. The ai defense mechanics are way overpowered to the point where * players don’t even use them. They just sit still and let the ai defend for them. Some games keepers play like they should according to the card. Some games they may as well not even be in net. Some games it’s like you put a literal concrete wall in front of the net and they make 22 saves with an xg of 7.9 and you lose 1-0 off of a cutback or a bicycle kick from a corner. The overpowered mechanic of just lobbing long passes without even knowing where your player is, the way fouls don’t get called on center halfs when they maul a striker but you get sent off for pressing B outside the box with defenders behind you. Whatever EA has done with this game makes it so hard to enjoy playing. It’s a poor excuse for a football game and with how many complaints you guys see every day, it’s pathetic that seemingly no changes are made other than throwing more packs at everyone. “We see that you guys hate the gameplay and are tired of delays in the game, the toxic community, and the broken mechanics…here’s another promo that you have to spend money on to get any of them, enjoy”. Make it make sense and fix the game. This game has been a horrible miss on your part EA

@EA_LeonSK This game is infuriatingly bad to play. It’s just a matter of who can abuse mechanics better than the other guy. There is no real football happening here and it’s not fun. It’s a * game that rewards toxic play to perform well. I’ve shattered 2 controllers playing this * game because I have 12 shots to my opponents 2 and the game is 2-0 in my opponents favor. Ai defense is the dumbest it’s ever been in terms of how overpowered it is. You guys have truly made a dumpster fire of a game and despite all the comments you get from your players about how bad it is, you guys fail to fix anything. From the * poor passing, to the op ai defending, to the game by game changes in gameplay, to the constant input delay. I mean, you figure that something would be done to make this game enjoyable but it sucks the life out of me and many others. I’m done playing this game. I’ve held out hope that you guys would figure something out, but oh my goodness was I sorely mistaken. What a poor excuse of a game this is

My suggested improvements for EA FC 24 (I also feel gameplay and graphics went backwards from FIFA 23).

- Please done ignore kick off mode. Why can’t casual players also benefit from the fun perks that come to UT? Like retro kits and fun creative stadiums.

- The graphics look odd with the shirt numbers stretching all over the place and not as clean as in the FIFA series. The goal replays / cut scenes look choppy when the FPS drops and ball is blur. 
- Improve the cutscenes and match day. It was so disappointing we lost match day walk outs / line ups or at least option to have this. New cut scenes are repetitive and too short and doesn’t build any match day anticipation. I miss the stadium anthems!

- Graphics - flags in the crowd are choppy and over done. How often do you see this many flags in the premier league? Also why is every second person in the crowd a clone or twin of a model, I wish the crowd would look and behave more like individuals if they are in cut scenes.

- So much more innovation could come to the game. Retro kits / teams from years gone by, stadium editor, goal horns, more dramatic scenes for cards, penalties, goal celebrations, VAR moments. Community kit creations?

- Commentary has gone backwards, little variety of words. Could do with a few more options.

- Replays, can we save replays of goals to form a library to watch back on? 

- Pre game fly over of the stadium, hype music, ability to pick how full the crowd is or fans leave when the team is being hammered 5-0 

- Little details can have a big impact and it would be great if EA would poll / listen to the community more to shape their development pipeline rather than just push out random title updates.

I genuinely love football and everything surrounding it. A part of football culture for me is FIFA or what we now know as EAFC. So of course I’m gonna want to engage in the game and have a good time playing it but that is just so hard to do now. I mean some games it feels like everything goes my way; lucky interceptions, rebounds etc. but others passes go way off target, I can’t tackle the ball without it rolling straight to an opponent etc. I think what gets people including myself is that gameplay is just straight-up unfair. Even pros end up losing games they shouldn’t because of glitchy animations with goalkeepers that means the ball goes through them or players being snapped in the box but the ref couldn’t care less. On top of all of this which is already rage inducing easily 20 percent of champs games end in being kicked out or dnf because of bad servers.

I hate to say it but unless something big changes I don’t see a way forward for this game and even EA themselves.
