EA SPORTS FC™ 24: Pros and Cons - Share your thoughts

I remember when you played WL to get get red informs that meant something.  Ffs, any inform was a plus.  Now, with all the weekly promos,  informs are fodder.

Even though the gameplay was bad, it was still football oriented.  Now?  I question the motive...

tbh, I think I will stop buying any new release from this company.

No more FIFA/FC25, etc. 

Waste of time and money. 

Ea is the laziest company, the people that work their especially on their sport games must do the bare minimum, every sport game, especially the football game is just the previous game re skinned and some slight changes so it can feel or pass as a "new" Game, sometimes they even remove stuff from the game only to re add in the the future as something new, the company is a joke and their game is not worth anything above ( 20 ) may that be pounds or dollars, what we get is stuff that should be available as updates not classed as a new game....

I would rather they released a new game every 2/4 even 5 years and give us new kits and other bs they keep calling a "new" feature as an update.

Anyways I hope I live long enough to see karma catch up with EA one day lol 

I haven't played previous FIFAs to compare to, but FC 24 has been the worst online experience for me by a mile. Playing Ultimate Team is next to impossible. I have lag in every single game. It might be minor, but it's there, and you see it as your players taking these tiny tippy tappy steps before animations complete, then at worse it's 1s delay in every action. Players can't take a touch, they can't turn, takes them way too long to pass or shoot, they sometimes are not where they're supposed to.. You get the point.

And the best part: your opponent is completely unphased by it. Why? Because the netcode in this game is so bad it simply gives the upper hand to whoever has the worst connection to the server. It could be solved by improving the netcode and actually matching players with similar connections, and maybe improving their server capacity, but no. Too much effort.

Imagine playing Counter-Strike or any other online game where your actions take 1s to register in game. People would absolutely lose their minds. This is by far the biggest problem in the game and it hasn't been fixed in seven years. That's how little this company cares for it's players.

As a comparison: I've played World of Warcraft since 2006 and it never had any lag in the game for me to go in and complain in Blizzard's forums. And we played 40 man raids back in 2006 without any issues! Any lag they ever had was so widespread it was caused by entire server clusters suffering from it that affected thousands, and they reported it on their Twitter account and fixed it within an hour. Always. 

EA does nothing to this issue even though it's been reported by thousands of players and content creators for years and years. Imagine if microtransactions became illegal for them and they actually had to spend effort to make this a proper game? That'd be something. 

Still, suckers spend thousands of dollars in this game because it's designed to be addictive. How pathetic. I'd be ashamed to call myself an EA employee.

it’s guaranteed the worst game ever, ref gives 2 min extra time opponent scores at 97 min, definitely not purchasing next game ever again 

Gameplay is the worst I’ve ever seen and they’re refusing to fix it. I held out hope for this last update and not only is gameplay still bad, there’s also still bugs that crash the game. This product is disrespectful to everyone who’s paid money to play and it’s a clear indication of how EA sports feels about its customers. 

If you’re still here next year, you deserve the frustration.

I am so glad i didnt buy this game at full price why in tf would you take out the prematch cut scenes they dont give a f about career mode
