EA sports fc 24 is the worse game ever, skill base match making is so unfair every game I've played in on rivals I've lost and haven't had a win in 2 days at all ur passing, finess shooting, goalkeeping are horendoues and even the tackling as well when trying win ball and ball bouncy back to the oppentmant or the oppentment just goes straight through ur player. This has to be the wrose football games I have ever played at least with fifa it was fair to win matches on rivals and actuly can win the ball after tackling oppentment at least passing was lot better on it to. U guys have messed up big time with this ea fc 24 (cm edit - updating thread)

The game is extremely unbalanced every counterattack = goal, but the combination play always ends in failure, you can't win with the tactic of keeping the ball in play. The only tactic in the game you can win with is kick and go sorry buying FC 24 thought they would produce a quality game but this is an insult to football. Above all the ultimate team gameplay is terrible.

Here are some key issues that really need to get sorted out quickly. I'm personally losing the motivation to continue with the game and I've literally only had it for a week. 1. Menus - are broken. It's completely astonishing to me that I have to hunt around to figure out which objective I just finished. You guys (EA) should be embarrassed about this. Sometimes I press 'Home' but it just stays on Play or vice versa - i.e. it doesn't work the first time Transfer Market menus - even these are lagged! So I cant just flip over to the next filter (e.g. League). I have to wait a half a second for the game to catch up to where we are in order for it to process the request to "move right to the next filter". 2. Time Wasting RWW - what the hell does it mean, and why does it come up every time I open a non-player pack? Also, why cant a skip the opening sequence for non-player packs? Its such a waste of time! It honestly feels like with the menu lag, the filter lag, the animation lag, you guys are trying a Blizzard and just 'injecting' time into the game. Why do I now have to 'hold down' the A button in order to skip the team overviews at the start of the match. Last FIFA I could just 'press a' in a split second. Who asked for this? Why is this there, other than to waste time? Revert please. Many times in game, I have to watch the ref spray the point at which a free-kick is going to be taken, or have to watch the entire sequence of a yellow card being awarded. Probably a bug. 3. Gameplay You know how many times my players fall over on the ground when they make a tackle? And when they are unsuccessful (fairly often relative to previous FIFA) the opponent just gets the ball and a free run on goal. Movement, reactions etc are generally slow, meaning than if you make 1 error on defending the wing it gets punished and is much much harder to recover from than previous FIFA. Jockeying is broken. Defenders are not defending what should be easy to defend attackers in the box with a jockey, and the opponent simply runs past them for a shot on goal. The problem here is that the game is also dishing out yellow cards and penalties like candy so if you decide to go for the tackle there is a great chance you get carded/penned Fouls and cards: Second yellow on a standing tackle where nobody falls down = red card, player sent off. Need to be careful bringing the keeper out to recover a loose ball because even though you cant directly control the keeper (or at least I'm not) if he collides with the player, there is a chance he will get carded and award a pen/goal. \ AI is still heavily [removed]. When the opponent is tiki-taking in your box, how do YOUR PLAYERS that are just outside of the box literally just stand there and DO NOTHING - they dont even correctly mark other players. Marking in general is so so poor. I think this is a feature to make it possible for people to actually play, but its ridiculous bad. Defensive AI is horrible with defenders willfully opening a lane for attackers by moving out of positing or into an idiotic position. Its so annoying when on the rare occasion you DO have the ball in midfield, and you trigger a striker to make a run, that the idiot insists on running in a perfectly straight line, and not into the OBVIOUS gap in the defense. You can attempt to direct the run manually, but its just stupid to see the striker making the run and asking for the ball, while heading directly to towards the only remaining fullback on the defense. Its so frustrating. 71+ depth is real. I'm trying to play at 60 depth but find myself (and my AI players who have 0 ball awareness) just not closing gaps, not moving into gaps correctly and reliably, not pressing when they obviously should, so I end up going 71+ depth to resolve this problem and guess what, things are more competitive. This is really really bad, because it makes it feel like there is often only 1 way to play, and your way of wanting to or trying to play football isn't valid. It makes the overall experience quite bland, meta, and thus boring. Keepers are still unreliable. Can pull out incredible saves out of nowhere. Yet flop over a literal roll-in goal that gets tapped in. I also tried an 87 rated female goalie and regretted every minute of it. I'm currently rolling with Pickford, who is superior in every way. The 87 female is SBC fodder and I'm sure you can do a better job with them than that. The game is really so frustrating to play, and this is disappointing because I usually enjoy the initial release of a FUT game each year. Last year and the year before it felt like it somewhat resembled football, slightly. You could strategise, try out different, non-meta tactics, and it was fun. I told myself that for me that's the best time to play - I still enjoy the "end game" but the beginning is quite pure. Not "EAFC 24" - this is a proper dog show and I'm disappointed big time. I also cant remember what packs were like before but the current SBC's are also just terrible. You're wanting something like 36 players averaging 85/86 in return for 1 86 player that we all know will be obsolete in a month or two. We no longer have league SBC's, which aside from a fun way to spend time in the game were also a great way to trade cards you got in packs. Everything is now geared towards buying packs (which I'm never going to do) and the options to actually TRADE cards to make money to build for your dream team are significantly reduced. you guys are just completely sucking the fun out of this game. @EA_Shepard that is one of the most bizarre things I have ever heard. so there are loads of known issues, but no timeline on when they’d be fixed. and yet, EA feels comfortable releasing the incomplete, bug ridden game to consumers who paid their hard earned money to buy the game, looked forward to the game releasing, only to realise the game is not fit for purpose? crooks. no other word for it.

This is completely insane… it seems that EVERYTHING in this game have problems or huge complains… I don’t recall such bad reception for a FIFA game… I m playing a career, ultimate level, and it’s now the 5th game in a row I’m conceding 4 or more goals while scoring a crazy amount…. Every attacks turn into a goali ve just finished a game I won 9 - 6… opposing team had 98% passing and me o% tackle completed and 0 interception… after 22 games I have 74 GF for 59 GA… I don’t know what to say…there is no fun with thisplease tune down the goalscoring and increase defending ability for users and IAoh, and in the last game, every time IA was taking a corner, one of their players was invisible,,,, for one corner, you just see the ball dribbling all my players and ending up in my top corner 😅how can you release a product with so many bugs ? Quite frankly, it’s unacceptable for a company of the size of EA…

I think every aspect to this game is broken. from goal keepers to strikers from shooting to blocking shoots. its terrible and has just got worse and worse per day. Today i notice corners and crosses have changed with mostly overhit or defended really easy. From all the feedback i have seen on the forums this was not one of them yet its completely altered. At present non of my players have pace and even when in behind of the defence 70+ pace players are easily overtaking. Blocking shots is just ridiculous but this has been in place for years just has been more assertive now with players blocking shots from behind players and then the ball traveling in the direction it would if they were in front which is physically impossible. Passing is pointless as its much easier to pass using through balls. Trigger runs hardly ever happens and when does after a huge delay the aspect of picking them out is not working due to passing bugs. This game feels like you have got all the bad content from each series of fifa and mashed them up into one rubbish gameI still can't believe there has been no update to fix any part of this game even the slider system doesn't feel like its in affect.

Counter attacking is very OP ridiculous im in div 8 was a div 4 player last season. Its hard as hell unless you counter

I think it is due to delay in defenders moves - mine can not mark attackers, they just don't move with left stick first milliseconds

This has been the issue for several years. Between the delays in defender's moves, EAs's push for goals and buffed attackers, to clunky controls. What makes it worse is when you go into Pro Clubs and learn that a FWD/MID getting a 9.0 easily in every match is getting about 50K BASE XP in 50 games, where as a DEF who averages only 6.6-6.8 a game, because, EA screwed their rating system so badly, will only earn 32K BASE XP. So now they can level faster, get way more skill points, while the Defender and GK will struggle with the severe lack of XP. At least when the game only needed 100 games to have max skill points it was even territory. Yeah, gee, thanx for the bend over EA.

@BanDit78 I don't understand what is the point of everything in the ultimate team, when every attacker overtakes the defender with a rating of 89. and the constant errors of handling are infuriating.

@recklesstriangle The matchmaking needs an overhaul. I usually play as Liverpool, because it's the team I support, I've played against lower ranked teams and been beaten comfortably off them; 5-0 in my last game against Real Sociadad. The matchmaking should be based on the players individual skill level and not the teams.
The whole game is a mess; Invisible players, pause button not working in some games, penalties given for the slightest of touches, offsides wrongly ruled as onside, offside calls incorrectly ruled as offside, players hard tackling and nothing happens (no advantage, no warning, no card, no free kick).
It's just a dreadful mess, like they've just rushed it out to be ready in time without testing to see if it works properly. If this had been tested properly there's no way it would have been released
