EAFC 24 Boots Thread
Can’t see a thread on here, so continue on from the old forum, how maybe new boots are we going to get with this edition. I assume the launch will have the most recent update from Fifa23. Be nice i...
Boots are out now, except for the new white Nike Phantom which is still not available for selection for some reason...
They also missed out on the Lemonade pack Phantoms too.
Some boots look ok but some look terrible. New Predators remind me of the old Nemesis models and are way too pointy and the colours look washed out.
I know right, ever since FIFA 23 the developers have boots either look clunky or way too dark. Like EA what is this??? We want boots to be captivating and vibrant. This looks dull, dark and dogs**t
The boot issue has been regrettable for several editions of FC. There is no point in putting boots in and not activating them. @EA_LeonSK Sorry man, tell us why not activated Mercurial Vapor and Phantom if you has included them in TU#9. If is a issue, report for the team to fix it, please! Please, do you answer us?
Another squad update today can’t see anything added especially not the missing boots. These forums are a waste of time for interaction with EA employees as you never get a response!
See that Nonoloco posted on IG that the Lemonade pack Phantoms will be available soon, hopefully the other missing boots will be added too. Knowing EA nothing surprises me anymore. On a more positive note, rumour on certain sites is that 2K are in the process of obtaining the FIFA license.
It would be awesome to see another company make a game that could compete .. the only issue will be the fact that EA and Konami have all the licenses and they fight back and forth and try to poach each other .. it should be a fact that all licenses are open to everyone and whoever makes the best game then so be it … 2K will never get EPL LaLiga Seri-A Bundesliga etc … so it will only be a generic game with generic teams with player names … it’s not like NBA2K .. that’s truly the only thing keeping people coming back to EA is the league and team licenses .. especially the EPL .. but they stuck it to everyone on that with STILL NO Luton Town stadium which also points out the laziness that ties to the boots along with a lot of the player models … open it up for anyone to make a full game and see where it goes .. then maybe attention to detail and realism would be more important …
I think about the post of Nono in instagram it's more his speculation than reality. The (bad) example is the another Nike Ready pack, Mercurials and Phantom not added yet. And the null answer about that by admins of this forum.
Has there ever been an explanation for the darkness in color on certain models?
As is the case with a lot of boots, the new predators are so dimmed in color they might just as well have been backout boots, almost a pointless addition. The old Predator Accelerator looks good, so it’s clearly possible to make the colors pop.
Another game and new boots never available on Pro Clubs and not updated on players online modes. It’s beyond a joke.
Lads they haven't even fixed the absolutely nonsense ******* pitch wear feature in career mode which makes it unplayable and stupid... where is this expectation coming from?
I'll admit I turned on the game for the first time since xmas with this latest boot update - and admittedly the gameplay on world class (with some user tweaks) feels pretty good.
If only they would pull their finger out and put just a smidge more focus on offline than online.
But unfornatately, clearly sharing our thoughts through this forum is absolutely useless...

They added the Nike Blue Mercurials and Phantom in the database but for some reason they haven’t activated it onto edit player. @EA_Darko @EA_rephii @EA_Mai Please activate these boots onto edit player so we can use them it has been four months now.
FUT FUT FUT FUT FUT …. That’s ALL THEY CARE ABOUT and it’s an absolute disgrace .. they rather screw over the majority for the minority because the minority is the cash cow … and for the most part usually all the boots are in the DB yet they do not release them .. and how the boots look as far as color shape sizing and details are lacking way more than it should be .. again LAZY DONT CARE ATTITUDE …because they know they get away with it because this is basically the go to as far as soccer/football games because of the licensing as compared to Konami … if there was legit competition and a real threat of people going elsewhere there would prob be more of an effort and an emphasis to fix these things but sadly that’s not the case ..

Download FIFA 21 again and see how much better the pitch and pitch wear looks. The game has regressed year after year.
@EA_Darko @EA_LeonSK Please, update the boot catalogue for edit players in offline modes. We have many (very) old boots activated in and new boots added not activated. Fix it or tell us anything about this, please!
Hey @tragicomedia there is no need to tag multiple CMs.
As we have said in this thread, we will pass your feedback on but beyond that there is nothing more that we can do.
If we have any info from the team we will share it here.
Darko
Hey @EA_Darko, it is necessary when none admin didn't answer us about this thing since the start of this thread. At least now we know you read us.
Here, this community only try to make this game simply correct. We have paid a high price and the mistakes are very big.
Thank you for your attention and your feed back.
Just so you are aware @tragicomedia discussing moderation in this way is also something that is not allowed.
If you have questions or concerns you can DM a CM.

@EA_Darko Ok, sorry and thank you for this information. I'm glad to see that you respond quickly even if it's not for the topic of this thread. I take this opportunity to ask you again to let the team know about the problem we are having with the new boots.
Hey all, we understand that you are frustrated but breaking the rules when posting is not something that we can allow. Over the past few days, we have had to remove a number of posts from this thread to the point that should it continue there is a risk that we may need to lock this thread entirely: https://answers.ea.com/t5/help/faqpage
As we have said, we have passed the feedback on to the team but beyond this there is nothing we can say in relation to this.
Should that change then as we said we will let you know.
Darko
Hey @EA_Darko it would be possible we know what is the reason why boots that have been included in the last update are not activated? It's just disconcerting.
No real communication of what the issues are is the real cause of frustration years upon years of incomplete games that do not mirror real life as mentioned the number of subs being outdated, career mode interviews the same generic copy and paste answers that don’t follow what is going on in the mode. A catalogue that is not updated regularly or when it is things are constantly missing or has a look of poor quality. Team updates that aren’t up to date.
Pes always used to keep their catalogues up to date with minimal fuss
it seems if you criticise or critique EA the policy is to silence you and only want to hear from happy players who constantly praise.
I just hope there is room for constructive criticism. Lack of understanding comes from lack of explanation and insight, I guess. I love football and football boots, we need a thread for it.
Maybe consider developing a boot editor? Imagine if we could also edit colors on the licensed boots, as well as generic ones.
And remember, with great licensing comes great responsibility.
