For me these scans are nice. I'm not a big fan of Serie A personally. Still some nice players added and a Juventus career mode could be fun.
My preference is always premiership scans but having La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and hopefully in the next year or so Ligue 1 scans is really helpful. If they also keep on top of other partner teams like Ajax, Porto, Benfica etc this will mean that most players transferring to the premiership will already be scanned which is super helpful for career mode.
My hope this year is that we get Rangers and Celtic, we get the rest of the Serie A scans that are missing from this update and then I hope we get the promoted premiership teams and some updated premiership teams.
Next year I'd love to see a full Premiership rescan and then a full Ligue 1 treatment and rescanning of all the partner teams.
Does anyone know if Taylor (Ajax) and Badishele (Chelsea) are scans or customs?
- @SambaFutbol22 Guessing we will get more players in future updates. Only a hand full of players scanned for each team so far
I know he hasn't even played a game for them yet but really would love Arda Guler - Real Madrid scan 🙂

Sofifa hasn't updated the version since 10/10. They're usually pretty quick, but I heard the guy is in Mongolia - not sure if that's true. Usually the squad update is quick on my xbox consoles and then I see the sofifa version as well.
My team is in League One - so not many chances they're ever going to get more scans, but we have four this season!

Yeah I keep checking so fifa for the update dropping. I hope it comes soon so I can do a new career mode tomorrow!
I feel that. My team is Sheffield Wednesday so no chance of any scans for my team either. Rotting at the bottom of the championship with no manager and the worst owner in football! I pray that I will one year see Hillsborough stadium and scanned players in the game.
My second favourite team Chelsea (I packed 3 star Heman Crespo when I was a kid from my first football card pack and followed them as a second team ever since) gives me a lot more scans but they're also doing terrible right now and have too many generic players in game to use too 😅🤣 Is update out? Have only seen pictures of a few of the new scans. Any sources for the rest yet?

- @SambaFutbol22 I can't tell. Looks like it could be either. One of those that doesn't look very detailed like the Udogie scan but then again it looks very much like the player and EA's customs aren't usually that accurate

TBH - I think EA finally understands us and I feel like another nice squad update will come in 2-3 weeks like a Nov standard. After that I am starting my season - not waiting any longer, but this update for tomorrow is a hope that things are heading in the right direction.

It’s so annoying that they dropped the update at a decent time but not dropped the SU… I’m not overly hyped with these scans but It’s certainly something to look forward to. Hopefully a lot more to come.
- @DZEKOPJANICCO EA don't understand and that's the problem. The game they put out at release was disgusting star head wise. Look at this update. How many starheads they're adding back that they previously removed.
Yes some of the new scans are good content but do we know when the next update will be? How many scans it will include?
This is the problem every year. We're always waiting on the next update because EA never let us know in advance what is happening. The fact that new starheads don't work in existing saves mean a lot of us hold off.
We have this update. Do we start a career?
Do we wait a couple weeks for the next? After that do we hold off until the promoted teams are added? Do we hold off for Rangers and Celtic? Do we hold off until March when the final update with starheads usually drop?
The problem is we never know how long to wait. If EA let us know in advance then we could pre plan.
Title update 3-12th October 162 scans
Title update 5- 18th November 103 scans
Title update 7- 5th January 79 scans
Title update 11- March 8th 32 scans
If they did something like this at release then we would know when the next batch of scans are coming so we're not holding off starting career modes. If we knew the next update was 2 month away then we could start a career mode for the time being. At the moment people hold off in hope the next update will soon drop. It makes offline play hard to enjoy.
If I was in charge at EA I'd list the date the update is set to be released, how many starheads will be in it and also which players will be scanned. This would allow people to pre plan career modes. If I knew the next update was only going to drop players I'd never use in career mode then I wouldn't need to hold off my career mode. Let's see if I can get Mitoma, Furuhashi, Maleh, Nzola, Ochoa, and some scans of Latin partners by the end of the year.
