Evolution players and IF's

I noticed when I was doing the evolutions that I could pick In Form cards to put in the evolution and that they would be "evolved" from those In Form stats. So I am wondering what happens if a card that I have already put through evolution gets an IF card, does my Evolutions cards also get an upgrade? If not, why not? Seems strange that an Evolution card could be made "obsolete" by a single (Maybe 2) IF upgrades.

If this is not the case then I think EA should think about adding an IF evolve category where you could upgrade any Evolutions card you have in case they get an IF (Not special cards, TOTS, TOTY etc... Only weekly IF's) just to make sure that those cards stay relevant longer in the game.
