@gbengz-da-legen You’ve summed up all of the ongoing issues, not just experienced by myself, but by literally 80-90% of the community. I use the delay analogy to this - imagine playing the likes of Call of Duty & when you press the fire/shoot button, there’s a second or two delay from your gun firing the actual ammunition. You’d lose your patience in no time - according to EA though it’s an issue with my broadband settings even though no other game gives me any issues. I tried all the ‘quick fixes’ including plugging in an Ethernet cable direct from the back of my PS5 to my TV. The network ping fluctuates between 10/50ms & connectivity with all other games is perfect with no lag whatsoever. I’ve been playing this franchise since the very first one back in the mid 90s - yes I’m that old - and it’s safe to say that since pretty much FIFA 18, the game has gone rapidly downhill. All EA seem to care about is churning out promo after promo, more often with the same usual ‘fan favourite’ cards, as opposed to trying to address the basic gameplay mechanics. They (EA) release regular updates of up to 8GB & I struggle to understand what this update actually does to ‘update’ the game. Don’t even start me on issues such as GK/rebound or ricochet central/CB being able to do bicycle kicks from a corner/terrible pack luck (dupe central when there’s around 20k real life players in the game!)

- @riptide_80 very frustrating, I've changed internet providers, even gone to a different location to test to see if its my area causing me the problem.. but its the same thing over and over again. I just want to enjoy the game
- @gbengz-da-legen Mate it’s the only game that seems to give me issues & I had the exact same problem with FIFA 22/23 but you highlight this to EA & they’ll pass the buck onto you saying it’s your broadband speed/connectivity/stability etc as opposed to admitting their product is a big pile of s***. I honestly can’t tell the difference in speed between my 91 Haaland or a 58 rated Bronze Common player. It’s like they’re stuck in the mud & have to free their legs somehow in order to start running. Haaland with over 90 SHO for me at least, has a habit of shooting wide of goal 8 times out of 10. Game’s fast becoming pointless with all these glitches - surely someone picked up on these issues during the Beta release (trials/testing/evaluation phases!) or did they just think it’s ok, we (EA) will still sell a shedload of the game so the odd glitch or two is fine. They’re more interested in pushing out endless promos than they are fixing their faulty product - remember the days of FIFA back in the day when 70-80% of the Community only had Rare Gold players right up until Christmas? Now you’re coming up against 90 rated squads 2/3 weeks after release against guys who have more icons in their starting XI than I’ve managed to collect in the last 3 editions of the game. Merely a case of EA pushing out this whole ‘PTW’ mentality & some people are that stupid they actually go along with it!
- @riptide_80 its soo frustrating, literally tried everything. new hdmi, new controllers, new gaming monitor, new ISP. even changed location to test and nothing seems to work. what's even more frustrating anytime I explain it to my mates they think im making it up
