I'm happy i stumbled upon this cause I was starting to loose my find over why my game was feeling this exact way you're describing.
I have a PS5 aswell with wired connection and great internet, and to be honest it doesn't matter at what time I play anyore, my players always feel clunky and unable to make turns.
They don't tackle and it feels shambolic to honest.
I've tried every gamemode and its the same no matter the gamemode for me, even offline its the same thing.
I hope to be able to play this game once more, but for now I have to find another game to play sadly.
I've tried different setting even on the PS5 and my monitor, but its still the same issue.
And it started to become this bad after TOTY for my I would say, horrible horrible.
It's a mess. You never know how the players will play from one day to the next, or how the game itself will play. Lau ching balls over the net with even the slightest touch, players running clean through other players, and bouncing the ball off the bar more than frequently is ridiculous. This game used to be so much better to play but I guess laziness and greed prevail in all things these days.
