I'm happy i stumbled upon this cause I was starting to loose my find over why my game was feeling this exact way you're describing.
I have a PS5 aswell with wired connection and great internet, and to be honest it doesn't matter at what time I play anyore, my players always feel clunky and unable to make turns.
They don't tackle and it feels shambolic to honest.
I've tried every gamemode and its the same no matter the gamemode for me, even offline its the same thing.
I hope to be able to play this game once more, but for now I have to find another game to play sadly.
I've tried different setting even on the PS5 and my monitor, but its still the same issue.
And it started to become this bad after TOTY for my I would say, horrible horrible.
Almost got sucked in with a few good games again, and then once more it handicaps my team so badly I can't complete a pass or a through ball, players stand around and don't tackle. I love the little "running man" visual whe it's messed with the game so your player doesn't move towards the ball as the opponent passes you and wins it. Why does ea keep this crap logic in Career mode?! It just pi$$es players off.
