How many mistakes this year EA

So with EAFC nearly out to which I will not be buying, due to the issues with ea not being very compassionate about the sport and focusing more on money grabbing. That’s my opinion.

Will you buy it as you prefer the ea style game or will you decide to move onto UFL as it’s something new?

How mistakes you guys think ea will make this year and how many patches will there be?

you guys think they have made this years fifa better and get worse as the year goes, or is bad and gets better with the patches.

What are your thoughts about it.

@iiUKGalactico I won’t be buying this year, I am staying well away from EA football games. I know this game will end up going backwards.

@Bigpokey247 Don’t get me wrong I would buy it but after fifa 23 there is no way am buying into this game. Wait till full release and then the issues start. Demos always look good.

Like fifa 23 from the start good defenders and goalkeeper until people stated complaining it was to hard to score and hare to make attacks.

@Nalchic Yeah but the issue really is how does ea do it every year, even in big sports events the people call them out. They even say thank god kick off glitch is there or I wouldn’t have won.

But then again maybe people like the easy games and not much of a challenge as ea football really now isn’t a challenge once you find the easy goals and glitches.
  • My thought is that this post is way too negative.  Patches necessary in most every game after launch.  Poster should be grateful for a great game which was not even possible a few years ago.

  • Except that EA doesn't even patch out huge bugs in the game. Career mode has had sliders that reset to default on all platforms, and through the length of FIFA 23 being out, EA has never fixed it.

This means every time I power off my Playstation or play a different game, when I re-open FIFA 23 I have to manually go in and enter all of my slider values. And it's not like that goes quickly, because EA can't add the ability to just type in the number value. Instead I have to sit there and manually drag each slider into position, then do it all again the next day because EA can't be bothered to fix an issue in their $60 game.

It's one thing to have bugs slip through, or bugs get introduced. That's just the cost of doing business. But for EA to have a bug that has been widely reported on here with a thread that went 22 pages before EA's community managers apparently just stopped responding, and elsewhere on the internet, is unacceptable. It just shows that the company doesn't care about the parts of the game that don't generate constant revenue, like their online play and UT packs. Ultimate Team has been the biggest cause of EA sports titles to go downhill for everyone who doesn't play online.

This doesn't even touch other bugs, like doing the highlights mode and having the game just glitch out before the ball goes in the net, the faceoff bug where your players just stand still forever or any of the other bugs. I get that those can be tough to track down, and those systems generally work the majority of the time. But the slider bug is legitimately a bug that happens more often than not.

To be honest I am enjoying the demo, I do quick sell all the women in i pack. Also whenever i match up in rivals vs women , i ensure i play very seriously and i end up scoring and scoring and scoring, I think i will get   EAFC 24 . I like the advance defending

So your saying you don't try scoring when you come up against all Men's Teams?

It's kinda the aim of the game dude

@xCoroSandrox You're very wrong. FIFA don't have any rights to teams or leagues or any entitlement to them. EA have La Liga, Bundesliga & EPL exclusive on multi year deals. MLS & EFL too.

Most likely FIFA won't be making their own game anytime soon. They're not a games developer. They will try to sell the license to the name FIFA to a game studio but that does not come with the teams or leagues. You're spreading false information. EA aren't losing any licensing anytime soon.
  • @grn1989 Yeah th eonl ythin gFiFA gav eEA wa sth elicens et ouse thei rname on the box an daccess t o the world cup when it cam eroun tha twas it. I can see why EA chose to jus tdrop it in the end. Hopefully the yuse the money they save t license more leagues or at least do something meaningful with the game in time. A tleas tthat's m yhop ebut only time will tell. I d oknow th eon ebi gheadach eEA had wit hFifa was tha tevery nw efeature tha tcam einto Fifa ha dt obe OK'd wit hFifa firs tbefoe ri twen tint oth egame at least EA doesn't have to do that anymore. Whic hma yb ewhy we've seen quie ta few changes this year. Ihaven' tplayed the nwe game as I never got a Beta code so can' tspea kfrom experience yet but I'm liking what I' m seeing.
