If I buy FC24 on steam, can I start it from the EA App if Account is connected?

Hey, the question is already stated in the title, but I'll elaborate.
If I buy the game FC24 on steam, can I connect my EA Account and be able to start the game on the EA Launcher or is the game platform reserved?
