Issues playing multiplayer with friend on FC 24

Although I can see my friend is online, I am not able to invite him to play with me on any of the modes: 1v1 friendly, season co-op, or ultimate co-op. is there a way to fix this? Or did EA overpro...

I’m experiencing the same issue, can see them on friends list but unable to invite for co-op or friendlies.
