Josip Šimunić as a hero

Now that my favourite striker is coming to FC I have to push for my favourite defender to come back. Šimunić is the only player in football history to have received 3 yellow cards in one match. He appeared in 5 major tournaments for Croatia from 2001-2013 and is the 6th most capped player for the country. He was a solid defender and played on the pitch with heart and soul. He’s remembered by lots of fans and I just feel that he’s a part of football we shouldn’t forget.
