Lag/stuttering on PC

Although this may seem like a common issue, I am fairly sure what I am experiencing is entirely unique to me. I have seen nobody else with this issue and have tried numerous ways of fixing it- none to any avail.

Basically, I can load and run the game fine. There are no problems with my laptop's specs as it can run matches just fine. However, after I make it about 10-30 minutes into a match, the game can randomly start stuttering to the point of it being completely unplayable, maybe on around 5 FPS. The game will stay like this for around 5-10 minutes (again seemingly randomly) then go back to normal again, to 60+ FPS. This issue has also happened to me on FIFA 23 and I only upgraded to EA FC 24 because I hoped it would solve this, but it did not. If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it thatd would be great! Please let me know and I'll provide any information I can.
