Multiplayer Modes

Will EA Sports FC 24 allow online friendlies beyond 1v1? For years this mode has been left behind. I would like to play 2v2 with my friends while everyone is in their own home. Or if some friends are over and want to play against a 3rd friend online, all the local players are forced on the same team. 

The ask is to allow any combo with up to 4 players just like local kickoff but with any combo of local and online players. Low hanging fruit feature. The game allows 11v11 I can’t see how this is harder. It has been done in previous fifa games.
