I'm not going to disagree on your overall assessment, but I do want to address your concerns about "realism".
I'm not sure that people really want a realistic football game. They just want a game.
You can't complain about lack of realism in the game when you score 12+ goals in 90 minutes.
If most of you took 22 shots like Villa did a few weeks ago and scored zero goals, you'd be furious. Shooting is broken, you'd say.
Look at real ratios of shots to shots on target. Now look at your games. If they reflected real life, you'd curse aiming.
Look at how often a cross connects in real life. Now look at your games.
Everyone loves their "spin and pass" or "spin and shoot" moves ten times a game. But try that in real life and you end up like Chris Basham.
I've got a Jonjo Shelvey card that says he's the fastest man in the world.
And the list goes on...
The game is not "realistic". It's a video game. You want realism, touch grass and play.

Maybe i were unclear when i wrote my post. I understand the game will never be 100% realistic it is still a game. But it is a football game and should have a high degree of realism. It should not be possible for a center back like gold van dijk to catch up to mbappe if mbappe have a clear lead. It should not be possible for 4 rebounds in a row ending up at the opponents possession. I understand it will never be 100% realistic and i dont want it to be either. But some things i witness in this game is just ridiculous and should never happen.
The message i wanted to convey is that this game is not realistic as EA want it to look like. I saw the other day a EA discussion employee state that the reason for such horrific ball bounces was because "it happend in real football games" and gave an example of PSG vs Barca in the UCL. They market their game as the most realistic football game with hypermotin technology etc. That was why i sat down and wrote this post in frustration over EA's comment and pointed out everything that was unrealistic and everything that suck in this game. They made realistic ideas unrealistic if you understand me.

I don't think you were unclear, and I think I do understand your frustration. I feel it every time some random ISL defender chases down my SBC Lois Openda.
But my point was that I'm not sure the player base as a whole actually wants realism, so they don't get it.
EA can say what they want, but in the end, I think they're giving the player base the game they really want, even if it frustrates some of us.
Their growing revenue numbers certainly bear that out.

I dont think majority of the playerbase actually enjoy playing this game. When you look at reviews they are bad, when you look at streamers giving their opinions it is bad. Many Esport player quit competetive this game because they did not enjoy the meta EA gives them. I also saw a video stating that EA FC 24 hit an all time low on active players after toty. idk if it is true but it wouldnt suprise me. Usually people keep playing fifa untill tots and then it starts to die out. EA makes a lot of money on these HUGE store packs which are pumped out like never before (400-700k packs) which cost a lot of money to open.
