@Albino-Fish00 If his overall account is for his actual age, this could be an arbitrarily be something to prevent unwanted purchases. A few companies have been hit hard in courts because of how predatory the game's purchases are. This is also why Belgium has flat out banned FUT for their country as seeing the packs are labeled as Gambling.
If other countries started following suit and the Government finally steps up to Micro Transactions, they these packs/loot boxes or whatever you want to call them will be hit hard and actually force games to get rid of them all together. It's possible that these lawsuits that have been happening will start on this eventually, and it needs to happen.
And this would actually be good for gaming as it will force games to be released completed and not in the state that 90% of games being released. For instance, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and many other AAA games in the past few years have been released broken as all can be. They all have Microtransactions. Baldur's Gate 3? Not a single Microtransaction and it broke records. Notice the trend....
