Penalties are an absolute joke
Not sure if its the same online but in career mode, the attackers run into your defender and they get given a penalty. Even runners off the ball.. Also happens if they shoot and fall over your GK or...

@Rockguitarist88 My controller ran out of battery in my last game, by the time I had changed the battery I had conceded a penalty. How can I concede a penalty when I am not even in control of my players??? I am done with this game it is so scripted it is unreal. EA will deny it is scripted but if proof was ever needed then that is it.

Yep it’s definitely scripted. I played a career mode game the other day, I was top of the table and the AI were bottom. My players couldn’t even run, every single one of them was slow and I lost.
As an experiment I restarted the game. Took 4 restarts of the game for my players to run normally. Them winning 3/4 is definitely scripting. Its usually teams that cant score as well or players scoring their first goals of the season…
@Rockguitarist88 I just conceded another penalty. Ball played into the box from a corner, opponent attempts a bicycle kick, hits the deck, my player didn't even tackle him and my player received a yellow card and a penalty was awarded. My opponent scored from the penalty because I don't see the point in even attempting to save them, there's no point, hopefully he hits it down the middle.

I’ve had quite a few this week where their attacker falls over my defender after shooting and gets a penalty..
my goalkeeper is no longer handling shots either and it keeps bouncing off him straight to an attacker to score in an empty net. Absolutely shocking
@Rockguitarist88 I just played a match and my opponent did nothing in the first half, his keeper saved pretty much every shot. Went into the break 1-0 ahead. I'd totally dominated that half but their keeper was like an octopus. 2nd half, I concede 3 goals in the first 10 minutes, my keeper couldn't catch a cold
Its not scripted. I mean... Not in the decide who wins way. I noticed that it has a lot to do with formations. Some formations will make ur players slower when playing against certain formations and so on. The formations seem to be so hard coded its horrible.
Also, why are we even playing this game really. its so unbalanced towards players spending money its not fun.
Lets tackle a player... oh the ball went back to him. lets tackle him again 5 times and still not get the ball cause my player dont have a racoon picture on him.
Speed stats are pointless. cause my 99 speed player cant keep up pace or will be catched up even if hees not tired at times.
I can go on and on about the terrrible animations. Horrible AI and so on.
Worst game ever made.
All about making money, no love for the game. Just pure greed
- @BobbyBriggs The only thing that counts it’s money. I don’t believe that this company will release a better game than this one and this one in unplayable. I don’t spend money so my frimpong is outraned by every player in this game. 5 tackles and the ball still has my opponent, i have in every game plenty of shots on the goal but almost every shot hits the wood or the goalie makes miracles.
@BobbyBriggs If it's not scripted then I don't know what is going on. I just played a game against Barcelona. I was 4-2 ahead going into the second half. I scored another 2 right after half time. I went to pause the game so I could alter my tactics. It wouldn't let me do it. I also tried to use the quick subs button when the ball went out of play and it wouldn't let me do that either. The game finished 6-6 because my ai defenders started playing like a bunch of amateurs all of a sudden. My players were moving really sluggishly while Barca players seemed to be moving 10x faster and they scored 4 goals in the last 10 minutes to make it a 6-6 draw when I had been winning quite comfortably.
You're right about the speed stats beeing pointless. I've lost count how many times I have shouted out "There's no way that your defender is faster than Salah!"
Then you have the outdated commentary, saying a tap in is a tremedous goal, or they'll say "Down to 10 men and that doesn't seem to bother them" when no one has been sent off
