Player Career Mode - Match Rating System
EA FIFA 23 Player Career Mode match rating system is actually a match manipulation mechanism to control the scripted outcome of a match. The player career mode games are atrocious, laughable, predictable and usually a waste of time to play through. Jumping to result is the best way to get a reasonable match rating for the player (yes 10.0 with horrible stats). AI and Assisting are bizarre and about the only way for a player to get above 7.0 is with a goal (instant +1.0 to +1.7) except for strikers who sometimes only get a fraction of that (yes, 5 goals might get you above 8.0 if all other percentages are strong). Previous version before the 23 mess had at least consistent methods. Also, a player should never start below a 6.0 (in 23 it is always 5.7). It is bewildering to watch "one of the world's best" players (not the gamer's avatar, but real-life names) running away from the ball, missing penalties by wide margins, and volleys into row zed.
CRITICAL QUESTION:
In EAFC24 will the Player Career Mode Match Rating system be returning to a player performance-based system?
