Points conversion help

Hey guys. I've made a mistake and bought points for pc instead of xbox and already redeemed them. Was under the impression it's the same. EA support told me to contact the reseller and get a refund which they won't give. What should I do? I have 12000 points I can't see or use because I'm playing on Xbox and not pc. And how funny is this? I mean, xbox and pc are basically the same with cross play and shared content so why not points?

Anyway if anyone knows what I can do I would appreciate the answer....

I understand that you are disappointed, but I'm afraid we cannot transfer points between platforms. You can only use the points you redeemed on the platform where you activated them.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to transfer FC points from one platform to another. If a retailer is unable to issue a refund, there's not much we can do.

To avoid any issues, always check the platform listed on the product description before redeeming the code.

i refuse to believe this technical issue will result in my sending my money down the drain.
there must be something you can do.
ive looked around and saw that this mistake is happening to many people. why not offer a solution?
my EA account is linked to my pc and xbox so why not have the option to send points cross platform?
anyway, i need a solution. i'm not gonna accept spending money on nothing.

Hi mate, I know this 2 years later but just wanted to ask if you managed to do anything about this or resolve this, even with the seller? Ive tried multiple times with both EA and the seller but both are being weird about it, wont help at all.
