There’s no skill, no tactics, no epic moment of magic there are like three things you need to do to win. High press, learn how to score from corners and whatever edge of the box flick up to shot with a ridiculous over head kick that lobs the keeper is currently meta. That’s it. The game has degenerated into this end to end, high speed, high scoring, button bashing sweat fest. The people who love to play a pressing game are loving it because coupled with the fact you can press all game long with barely any fatigue consequences all you have to do is bash into a player from behind to win the ball back. The tackles from behind are driving me mad. It’s genuinely a surprise if they get blown a foul. What makes it even more annoying if you watch the replays you can literally see the tacklers body parts pass though the person they are tackling foot/leg sometimes. There are some games you just can’t retain possession because it’s just bish bash smash from ever angle. I thought I’d see if I could get a massive strong CF and hold the ball up a bit and having 99 physical stats and being massive doesn’t help barely at all! It’s still bash bash tackle from every angle. Yet perfectly legit slide tackles nearly always get blown a foul! You should be able to choose your style of play, get players to suit it, choose tactics and if you loose to someone more skill full fine. But all you gotta do is get your 10 outfield players to leg it around like a pack of rabid dogs and learn how to score overhead kicks with centre backs from corners and you’ll win every time. Pure garbage gameplay with so many glitches you can take advantage of and the inevitability of it all makes it boring, deeply frustrating and less and less like football.
