PS5 unfair gameplay with higher ping
Hi, my ping is an average of 50ms. Playing for a while now makes me realize the game is really unfair. I can’t win from players with lower ping since my players just don’t move as fast (input delay)...

i had the same problem till i bought a wifi 6 router and dongle my old one was a wifi5

it's all about the ping being to high for your players to make effective runs.
They always seem to be 'outsmarted' by the opponents ai because they just respond faster on higher ping.

I hope nobody is suggesting that anyone with stable Internet and low latency be punished to accommodate people who don't, or for people that use unstable wifi?
There's reasons why Fifa/EAFC games react differently to latency, when compared to games like COD. It's been covered in articles over the years quite a few times.
EA already have network smoothing, but that ends up punishing people with better connections, which at least in my opinion shouldn't be implemented.
50ms isn't even that high, and anything under 60/70ms is more than playable. 20-30ms delay is not going to be the difference between being great or struggling hard. People need to learn to play within their connection limit, or look at ways to lower their ping.
Avoiding WiFi entirely is a good start.
Let not punish the majority of players because the minority chose to use wifi, or are unfortunate when it comes to their location. The only remotely 'fair' way would be to match people with poor pings against other people with poor pings. It's not going to make the game play any better for those people, but it will mean people with better connections aren't punished and I suppose levels the playing field for people with high latency connections and/or shared WiFi.- @GoonerB This simply isn’t true. The gameplay is noticeably sluggish. I always play matches between 20-50 ping at different locations. Most of the matches I’ve played on the last 2 editions have been between 20-35. It affects everything from dribbling, passing, shooting, and tackling. You’re flat out wrong.
More so this year than last year, I rarely get games that feel right. It’s so rare that I immediately notice the difference. Unfortunately, most times I do it’s only at either the start of the match or end of the match.It’s not true, I play on a hardwired connection, 500 up and down. And every game I play I get connection issues with sluggish game play, especially when being the away side.
it should always be better for players on low ping, and stop accommodating people thinking they are so good being gifted wins with bad servers accommodating these high ping WiFi players. Don’t get it on any other game that I can recall
