The reason why things don’t work for you but work for others is a 3 letter acronym that can’t be mentioned on this forum. 
it will make you go crazy if you focus on the things your opponent can do but you can’t replicate. 
as everyone mentioned, you know we’ve got a completley broken football simulation if it’s easier to score from 30 yds out than in a 1v1. It says the who ever is in dev at this point for fifa has never seen a game, at any level, in their life!
