To player lock in EA FC 24 on the PS5:

• Enable player lock in the settings.
  Hold down the L3 and R3 buttons at the same time.
  Flick the right analog stick in the direction of the player you want to control.
  To exit player lock, hold down the L3 and R3 buttons at the same time again.

If you are having trouble activating player lock, make sure that you have enabled it in the settings and that you are holding down the L3 and R3 buttons simultaneously. You may also need to try flicking the right analog stick more quickly.
