cross progression is possible on the same platform, so you can transfer your progress from the PS4 to the PS5.
However, you shouldn't have had to buy the PS5 version separately, as the PS4 version should have Dual Entitlement, which should let you be able to also install the PS4 and PS5 version on the PS5.
Thanks for the reply. Could you provide more specifics on how to transfer PS4 progress to the PS5 version? I tried uploading/downloading to and from the console and cloud, but nothing seemed to work.
Also, I heard a lot about dual entitlement, but never found where to access it.
Community Managernormally, as long as you use the same EA/PSN account on both your PS4 and PS5, you should simply have to download the game on the next gen console and dual entitlement should've worked.
I have the same problem,I have ps5 and started ea fc 24 on a ps4 version of the game,but now I want to play on the ps5 version of the game but still have at least my career mode saved.
I have tried connecting with cloud save but it doesn't work.i have also logged in to both versions of the game but it says that I haven't a career saved.
I have been trying to write to ea but I am not getting any answers.
I’m having the same issue. The manager career progress does. It transfer to the ps5 for some odd reason and I think it’s because EA doesn’t make money off of manager mode except the initial sale of the game so they really don’t care for our experience as much as the modes where they make money.
this might never be fixed since they have no insensitive. I stopped buying madden for the lack of effort they put toward career modes. And it seems like this game is in the same boat.
