I am still trying to find a formation,  but I am using a Basic 4321, with Giroud as RF.Only instructions I changed was

LB/RB Overlap

CCM stay back

LF False9

ST and RF stay forward, stay central, get in behind.

The ST can be another TM or a more agile player, tried both and didnt made much difference. The main play still is crossing with the LB aiming Giruoud.

I just watched a video from tekkz and crosses are so fast and with so much curve they are comical. This might be the year of the target man. 

As every year, i dont find a Formation for a Targetman. The Crosses get everywhere but not to the Targetman. Its the same then last year. When you have the luck and you become a cross to the Targetman then the defender win everything. The Defender is smaller but can jump higher then the Tall Striker. I find the Gameplay dosnt Change to Fifa 23. Same BS then last year. Not a good Year for Targetman. 

But like every Year i will try and try and try again. Only Targetman Playstyle is the right for me. 

Is this thread dead? I want to try the 433( 2) with a targetman at striker, but I'm not sure what instructions to use. Or who I want up top

hmm i tried a little bit. and normal i only use Stay Central. But i tried a little bit with get in behind. But in which clip i use get in behind i dont can say this. But try get in behind and stay central. Stay Central i find is the most important setting for me

I'd probably do the same. Bit repetetive, but I'd maybe use him as a CF in the false 9 more than a traditional targetman. He's got solid dribbling stats, but he's huge, so he should have no trouble winning headers.

What for tactics do you all play?

Yeah that's what I was thinking or having a runner behind like a CAM or CF, do you think Engine or Hunter are best? 

Tried lots of formations and tactics, and the 4321 still is the best targetman formation for me.

Two TMs in the CF position,  one ST that can play as F9. CMs with good passing and FB that are fast and good to crosses. 

All tactics balanced. Middle CM stay back cover center. Activate fullbacks join attack from D pad.

I know isn't a very expressive number,  but my Giroud has 30 goals in 35 games. I will stick my team around him now.

Quite torn with how I want to play this year, with the best possible team, just Brazil/Argentina squad

But then I stumbled across potm guirassy and potm boniface and thought "hey this could be fun".  So might build a squad with them with the 4321 and have the fullbacks bomb down the wing and cross it, thoughts about those two?
