Re: Will team introductions return?
@ciuzio escreveu:I think it would be best - both for the majority who don't like this change and for the people who do - to simply give them the opportunity to choose whether they want longer or shorter inserts. Moreover, if someone skipped the longer ones, they will also skip the shorter ones. In online games, short inserts may be OK, but not offline. I think on behalf of most players, I am asking you to add longer pre-match inserts in FC 24. Such as in the old gen. Really, believe me, it will improve the reception and atmosphere of the game. I will also add that, unfortunately, with such measures or experiments you lose players who want to feel the atmosphere of the game, match, football. Some players will simply return to the previous FIFAs despite the lack of new features, for example in the career mode. Really, your new career tactics, coaches, etc. are great, but the lack of inserts simply discourages you from playing. Not everyone wants to play online, there are plenty of players who play career games or quick matches with friends. So please, once again, add these inserts offline. They are on the old gen, so adding it to the next gen shouldn't be a big problem in my opinion.
The issue here is very simple. EA Sports main objective is to get rid of the majority of offline gamers so that they can finally exclusively focus on multiplayer addiction and gambling modes.
I'm not being ironic. The player base is organically moving from past gen to current gen. So that's why they even don't care about the inconsistency regarding PS4 and Xbox One having the complete intro.
NHL and Madden already had complete match cinematics removed on current gen and people complained two years ago. They didn't care.
I didn't buy EA FC 24 and, since the old Sega Genesis days, this is the first time I never played a FIFA game. Not even a trial or demo. And this is EXACTLY what they want.
Why? Because they will finally be able to not spend resources and time on offline modes in a near future. And them will get rid of Career Mode claiming there won't be enough people using single player features.
Like Pro Evolution Soccer did, by the way.
