It’s not just that they are aggressive, but it’s that they can cheat.

the ai can tackle through your players from behind, literally clipping through them and no foul is given whether they touch the ball or not.

the ai can intercept passes which are well out of range by standing still but floating laterally and instantly control and pass again.

The referees never penalise the ai for all but the most blatant of sliding tackles

EA devs have made it so when they want the ai to score, your defenders actively walk away from the ai player with the ball, or stand and do nothing while next to them

the ai can block shots well out of their range

the ai goalies are far better then the players. When the ai needs to score a simple shot right at your keeper will see the goalies feet shift to the side and the shot go right through him as he dives to nowhere

even by ea standards which are already pretty low, this is shambolic.

but the truth is they are making it a bad experience on purpose, they want to drive you to their gambling mechanics mode. It’s quite malicious.
