Looking for some advice here... i've been using tactical defending since the start of fifa but i'm finding that even players like VVD, Schweinsteiger, Walker, Blanc etc... really struggle to ever make a tackle or box someone out. I've tested out advanced defending but only really in squad battles. Any advice on which is better in game? I get the feeling that a lot of people are using advanced given some of the challenges i see against me
Mate, it doesn't really matter what setting you choose.
The defending in this game is absolutely broken and only rewards attacking.
Only suggestion is not switching players to often as it leads to horrendous out of position situations and the attackers can just run straight through you.
EA SPORTS FC™ TeamHey @Cam3131, this is a great question. I played the first weeks with the Tactical Defending and switched recently to the Advanced one. In my opinion, if you are very good with the tackle timing, probably the Tactical Defending is a bit better. By the way, Advanced Defending is a new feature, and every new feature needs time to be "mastered."
