The matching system for the Online Seasons needs to be revamped.
With the current matching, even if I choose a 4.5 star team, the probability of hitting a France national team or a Real Madrid team is very high and I get fed up every time. In this game, it is more important to play against teams of the same level than the player's level. The difference in ability between a 5-star team and a 4.5-star team is so large that it is impossible to have a fair match.
As it stands more people will eventually choose the stronger team. I don't like to use the stronger team every time. Mbappe's move to Real Madrid is now official. In FC25 many of his opponents will choose Real Madrid even more. This makes the game very boring.
So I would like to be able to select a team after matching, which we had until FIFA 13.I don't mind waiting a minute or so for my opponent to set up their formation. If I knew in advance which team I would be playing against, for example if they chose Liverpool, I would probably choose a team of the same calibre, like Manchester City, Bayern or Barcelona. I don't usually choose Real Madrid, but when my opponent chooses Real Madrid, I choose Real Madrid. The reason is that there is no team that can compete with Real Madrid. I don't like playing against the same team, but it can't be helped
I don't know yet what the FC25 design will be, but there's no doubt that Real Madrid will be exceptionally strong. In the end, the situation where only strong teams can be selected may not change, but it is still better than the current system.
