Anybody having problem to get the strikers in the box for crosses? Playing 4321 and my cfs most.of the time stay on the edge....
Yes I know this problem and nothing helps in my opinion. I try „stay centre“, only one striker, …
but he comes always short. Only on counters he did the right run.
my right midfielder is rather in position for heading.
Such bs... Doesnt matter if I run 2-3 tms, a lot of the times a winger or even a fullback is finishing the crosses..
When Im running the 4321 with the striker as a f9 to build up, my cfs just stands outside 18yrd box and occasionally my striker ends up in the box.
Now Im gonna try the 4141 with the instructions for striker gib,stay central.
Maybe the formation to go for is the 4222, strikers one f9 and one tm and the cams are the actual tanks thats gonna get in the box. So basically youre playing 4 target men. Overlapping fullbacks thats puts in the crosses.
That might be my next play after trying the 4141...

I might have the solution. I have my Lucca on balanced and the tactics on attacking runs and he makes runs into the box to get onto the end of crosses. It's finally working for me Which formation?
This is what Im going to give a try. Been playing the 4222 for a while with target men at the cam spots. Quite successfully so far Thought I would share my tactics. Been playing Giroud and Joselu as Cams as well, just because 85% of the lb/rb reaches 5.8ft and it allow you to always have somebody on the far post.
The instructions can be tweeked so it fits you that prefer to have the crosses from only one side. If so, I personally would put my target man as Cam and St on the opposite side from where the crosses are coming from.

Instructions:
Gk: Come for crosses
Lb/Rb: Balanced, overlap
Cbs: default
Cdms: Cut passing lanes, stay back, cover wing
Cam: Get in the box for crosses
Strikers: Stay central, mixed attack, come back on defence.
Well this might not be for everyone, but hey, play however you like!

Yes Giroud looks really good. but unfortunately this Fifa again you can not play with a single Targetman.

'crossers' from the fifa 16-18 era. I have been loving the stupid arcade perks like ariel + or whipped pass +. I score crosses every other attempt now. Back in the day we were all discussing how to even win a header on the previous fifa's they were so awful.
Lets see some teams/tactics.
I've been rocking 442 all year but need a bit more life to my game. Running a 5212 LB+Y till I die tactic and just pissing people off. When im bored i'll prob revert back to the cross game. It's in my blood.
BPL team with Hemp/Diaby on the wings and Crouch and Shaw up top. Simply unbeatable. Throw VVD in the back and you don't lose a single game

442. lots of tackles. Use lobbed cross and people with whipped cross and ariel + . ive sat for years going into games and only crossing. 442 is the best
