Updates - Do they apply to current career modes?

@Rockguitarist88  Gameplay updates apply to current career mode saves. 

content updates like stadiums manager faces don’t.

    Does this mean I have to restart my player career mode because today was fixed bug wrong trophies and I don’t want to restart so can you clarify please.
